Donor Recognition
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark
and our affiliates are pleased to recognize the generous donors who support
the advancement of the vital programs and services provided to the Greater
Newark community.
The Circle of Hope
This annual giving society recognizes all donors who support our organization
through their cumulative giving of $1,000 or more within a calendar year.*
Benefits
- Receive invitations to special Circle of Hope
events, including an annual donor recognition event.
- Enjoy networking opportunities.
- Become a member of a philanthropic society
that supports the mission of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of
Newark and its affiliates.
- Receive a special Circle of Hope pin and membership
certificate.
- Earn recognition on the society’s Donor
Wall.
Qualifications
- $1,000 minimum gift (cumulative total) made
to all restricted or unrestricted funds during the calendar year (January
1 through December 31).
- For individuals, a donor’s giving club
level is determined by his or her personal gifts and any corresponding
corporate matching gifts.
- For corporations, a donor’s giving club
level is determined by its annual corporate gift total.
- Membership is renewable on an annual basis.
- * Note: In-kind gifts are recognized separately
and are not counted toward The Circle of Hope membership.
The Legacy Society The Legacy Society is a special organization
created to recognize those individuals who have included Catholic Charities
or an affiliate in their estate plans, whether by naming us as the beneficiary
of a will, insurance policy, or retirement plan, or by establishing a
charitable gift annuity or remainder trust.
Benefits
- Receive invitations to special
Legacy Society events, including an annual donor recognition event and
planned giving seminars.
- Enjoy networking opportunities.
- Become a member of an important group of people who
share a strong commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities of the
Archdiocese of Newark and our affiliates.
- Serve as an example to others of how planned giving
can benefit both Catholic Charities and the donor.
- Receive a special Legacy Society pin and membership
certificate.
- Earn recognition on the society’s Donor Wall.
Qualifications
- Simply notify the Development Office of your planned
gift commitment.
