INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION EXPENSES
Your international adoption costs will ultimately be determined by the following:
- Catholic Charities home study fee - $2,000. (includes $250. application fee)
- Placing Agency’s fees
- Country fees
- Criminal history fees - currently $60.25 fingerprints, $10 for CARI’s
- USCIS fees
- Travel fees
- Post-placement report fees
- Re-adoption fees (re-adoption is not required but is recommended)
- Miscellaneous fees
While it is impossible to know exactly how much your international adoption will total, estimated costs can be determined by both your home study and placing agencies.
