CATHOLIC CHARITIES OF THE ARCHDIOCESE OF NEWARK
INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION PROGRAM

Catholic Charities international adoption program is committed to helping New Jersey families adopt a child or children from another country. Many of these children are living in orphanages or foster homes, usually in impoverished nations. Their futures are grim except for the hope of finding a permanent family who will love and care for them.

Most international adoptions are between non-relatives and are classified as such by the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). However, it is also possible for families to adopt a family member under the age of 16, who is living in another country.
