Hudson County Jail: Substance Abuse Program
The Hudson County Jail Substance Abuse Program serves the male population housed in the Hudson County Jail. Participants in this 12-week program are offered classes in substance-abuse education, anger management, HIV/AIDS education, and career guidance.

Union County Jail: HIV Discharge Planning Program

Through this program, Catholic Charities staff work closely with Union County Jail officials to identify inmates infected with HIV/AIDS in order to provide essential services to the inmates and their families. Staff work with client inmates to assess their needs and provide essential discharge planning.

Union County Jail: Women's Substance Abuse Program

The Union County Jail Women's Substance Abuse Program provides addiction services to adult female inmates of the Union County Correctional Facility. The program meets twice daily, five days a week, and is facilitated by a certified drug and alcohol counselor. Services include drug and alcohol counseling, addictions education, case management, life skills training, criminal behavior modification, parenting skills, aftercare and referral services, and drug court intervention.

Union County Jail Rapid HIV Testing

Catholic Charities offers free and confidential rapid testing for HIV to all inmates incarcerated in the Union County Jail. Inmates who are at high risk for HIV are given referrals to go to a prevention program after release. Clients who test positive are referred to a case manager for discharge planning.
