| Catholic Charities Social Day Care Center for Seniors
This program is for frail and elderly residents of Bergen Co. It is staffed by a Master’s
degree level coordinator with aides and volunteers. The day program consists of activities
that are mentally challenging and encourage peer to peer interaction and socialization.
Physical movement is encouraged through chair exercises. Breakfast, lunch and a snack
are provided. Some grant funded slots are available and others are private pay. It is modeled
on a program that has been operational in Union County for more than 28 years.
