Residence w/HIV/AIDS Support Services

Franciska Residence is a 24-month transitional shelter for men living with HIV/AIDS who are homeless in Hudson County. Housing up to 14 men, clients receive a variety of services including:

  • Case Management;
  • Individual and group counseling;
  • Recovery support;
  • Skills building;
  • Nutrition education;

Services are provided in a safe, caring environment designed to strengthen the individuals coping mechanisms so that he is prepared for a permanent living situation. The program also makes the necessary referrals and linkages to substance abuse, mental health, and LGBTQ support groups. Franciska Residence fosters a healthy living environment and allow men to fully rehabilitate themselves to move into secured permanent housing.
